The Presidential Debate: What will SNL do?

Did you watch the Presidential Debate Friday night?  I did.  And I paid close attention to........what Saturday Night Live writers might choose to mock tonight in their opening skit.  Below are my guesses:
  • My bracelet's better than your bracelet.
  • Obama cannot remember John McCain's name.
  • Obama gives intricate, detailed, boring answer on an issue and McCain still patronizingly claims Obama doesn't "understand" the issue.
  • McCain calling Obama and GW Bush stubborn.
  • Miss Congeniality.
  • McCain's Eisenhower letter story.
  • Ahmadinajad.
This list picks on McCain quite a bit, largely because Obama played it so safe last night and what McCain said and did was more memorable.  Actually, I don't think there was much to mock from the debate, but I hope a talented SNL skit proves me wrong.  What I'd almost rather see is a skit about McCain's decision to suspend his campaign and the will-he-or-won't he show up to debate shenanigans.  Also, be on the lookout for a surprise Sarah Palin guest stint.  Her security did a walk through on Wednesday.  So watch tonight and check back for an update to see how prescient I can be.
